As Destroyer's Demon, Moe(singer/bassist) is the founding father of the band. At the age of 9 he first discovered KISS, and knew he wanted to impersonate his idol Gene Simmons. in 1993, he created Destroyer from that dream, and fought hard to find other members as passionate as he was. Thanks to hard work and dedication, he was able to push the band from a local act to a national act playing shows like the Calgary Stampede and Canadian National Exhibition. In 2015, Moe was inducted into the Windsor Music Hall of Fame.
As Destroyer's Spaceman, Michael Moodrey (lead guitarist) is no stranger when it comes to performing. He began singing at age three and has been playing the guitar for 28 years. Michael has proven himself over the years to be a versatile, professional musician that can entertain the audience with his guitar playing and vocal abilities. Having played metal, classic rock, dance music and everything in between. As a member of "Show n Tell", "Atypical" and "Ash Mountain", Michael easily became well known in the Windsor music scene. For 2 years now, Michael has been the lead guitarist in DESTROYER Canada, channeling the spirit of Ace Frehley via his stage presence and note-for-note guitar playing taking the audience to the KISS' hayday of the 1970's.
As Destroyer's Starchild, Ian Kurz (lead singer/guitarist) brings forth his vocal chops and guitar playing abilities. He‘s been a guitar player for most of his life and has been singing and fronting bands in various capacities for years. His versatility allows him to be apart of a band in a variety of ways. Vocally Ian has fronted such bands as “One Good Hand Grenade”, “The Bomb”, and “The Big Bang”. He has been a fixture of the Ontario Tribute music scene as well, playing the part of rocker Rudolph Schenker in the Toronto based Scorpions Tribute, Blackout, and playing the part of Chad Kroeger in the Brampton based Nickelback Tribute, Nickelbag. Ian has played along side some great artists like Mike Turner (Our Lady Peace), Mladen Alexender (Triumph, Von Groove, Tom Cochrane). He also co-wrote two unreleased Velvet Revolver songs. When Ian is not playing live, he can be found working on his music related websites www.discoveryoucansing.com and www.backing-tracks-for-bands.com . Ian has written many original songs, including solo releases. His most recent work being titled "Walk With Me".
As Destroyer's Catman, CHAD WALLS (drummer/vocalist) has performed over 2,000 shows worldwide and been on twelve European tours. He has performed with Paul Di’Anno from Iron Maiden, Canadian metal legends Exciter, Earthen Grave featuring Ron Holzner from Trouble, and violin virtuoso Rachel Barton Pine. He has released over thirty original CDs in various genres, is signed to Candlelight Records as part of The Living Fields, and is endorsed by Los Cabos drumsticks, which he calls “the best sticks on the planet”. In 2004, he finished 2nd in the “World’s Fastest Feet” WFD competition at NAMM. Additionally, he has appeared in Modern Drummer magazine in 2001, in the “On the Move” section. He also teaches drums full time in Ottawa. His past tribute band experience includes Hollywood-based KISS tribute Hotter Than Hell in 1998, as well as Misery (Metallica), Blizzard (Ozzy Osbourne), Axtra (Megadeth), Max/AC (AC/DC) and Santana Vibe (Santana).
